Solution:
A. Find your Computer Name via the Service Tag label:
1. The easiest way to get your computer name would be to locate the Service Tag (ST) or Serial Number (SN) label on your device. For laptops, it's located at the back while for desktops it's located at the top of the system unit.
B. Find your Computer Name from the System Information Window:
1. From the Start Menu, type in and open System Information.


2. Locate System Name
C. Find your Computer Name from Windows Search:
1. Search View your PC name, click to open and find Device Name.


D. Find your Computer Name and IP Address using Command Prompt (CMD):
1. Click on the Start Menu located at the bottom left of your screen and type cmd in the search box.
2. Press the Enter key or select the Command Prompt app from the search results.
3. When the Command Prompt window opens, type in ipconfig /all then press the Enter key. This will display a list of your network connection information.
4. Locate your computer name and IP Address. Your computer name will be listed next to Host Name and your computer’s IP Address is the one next to IPv4 Address.
E. Find your Computer Name and IP Address via Control Panel or System Settings:
1. Click on the Start Menu located at the bottom left of your screen and search then open Control Panel


2. Click on System and locate your Computer Name under Device Name.
3. To find your computer's IP Address from Control Panel, click on Network and Sharing Center,
click your active network connection, click Details and locate your IPv4 Address.

Click Properties under your active connection
and locate your IPv4 address.
