Oracle Password Reset Guide

Description:

This serves as guidelines on how to reset your oracle password via Login Assistance.

NOTE:
- If login assistance is not set up to work for some instances as NMDS1, contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.
- Users with no email access cannot use the Login Assistance thus contact the Service Desk for help in the required password reset.

Solution:

1. Click Login Assistance.

2. For password, type your username and click Forgot password.

3. Once done, an alert will inform you that it will take 10-15 minutes to receive the instruction on how to reset your password.

4. Once done, an email alert will be forwarded to your mailbox including the link to where you can reset your password.

5. Once open, proceed on resetting your password, also please refer below important notes.

Password must meet the following conditions:
- Must be at least 8 characters
- Must contain at least 1 numeric character
- Must NOT contain 2 consecutive identical characters (e.g. AA, BB, 11, 22)
- Must NOT be the same as previous passwords

NOTE: Oracle accounts are automatically disabled if not accessed for over 90 days.

6. Once done, click Confirm Password to complete.
